These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of mlux.io and any services provided by MLUX Auto Body (“MLUX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website, requesting an estimate, booking a repair, or receiving text messages from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Services
MLUX provides collision repair, paint refinishing, structural repair, ADAS calibration, insurance claim coordination, and related auto body services at 1919 S La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90034. Availability of specific services depends on your vehicle, damage type, and parts availability.
2. Estimates and Quotes
Estimates provided online, by phone, or via our AI-powered damage assessment tool are preliminary and based on the information and photos you provide. Final repair pricing is determined after an in-person inspection of your vehicle. Additional damage or hidden structural issues discovered during disassembly may result in supplemental estimates that require additional authorization.
Cash-pay discounts, deductible assistance programs, and promotional offers are subject to eligibility criteria and may change without notice. Ask us for current details.
3. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
By voluntarily providing your phone number and opting in to receive text messages from MLUX, you consent to receive SMS messages from MLUX Auto Body at the phone number you provided. These terms apply to all text messages you receive from us.
Program description
MLUX sends text messages for the following purposes: repair status updates, appointment reminders, estimate confirmations, authorization requests for supplemental repairs, and responses to questions you send us. You will only receive text messages from MLUX after you have provided your phone number and affirmatively opted in.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on the stage of your repair or inquiry. During an active repair, you may receive several messages per week. Between visits, you may receive no messages at all.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging fees depending on your plan. MLUX is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier.
How to opt out
You can opt out of receiving text messages from MLUX at any time by replying STOP to any text message we send you. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts from MLUX unless you opt in again. Opting out of SMS does not end any repair service or business relationship with MLUX — we will simply contact you by phone or email instead.

Supported carriers
Our SMS program is available on major US wireless carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No purchase required
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase of any goods or services from MLUX. You can still receive estimates, book repairs, and have your vehicle serviced without opting in to SMS.
Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent information are not shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for more details on how we protect your information.
4. Repair Authorization
Before any repair work begins, you will be asked to authorize the estimated scope of work, either in writing or through our electronic authorization system. By authorizing the estimate, you agree to pay for the repair services described. If additional work is required that was not included in the original estimate, MLUX will contact you for authorization before proceeding.
5. Insurance Claims
When you ask MLUX to handle your insurance claim, you authorize us to communicate with your insurance carrier on your behalf. This may include sharing estimates, photos, supplements, and invoices. You remain responsible for any amounts not covered by your insurance, including your deductible (subject to any applicable deductible assistance programs).
California Insurance Code Section 758.5 gives you the right to choose the repair facility for your vehicle. Your insurance company cannot require you to use a specific shop.
6. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of repairs unless other arrangements have been made in writing. MLUX accepts major credit cards, cash, and direct insurance billing for participating carriers. Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees and collection costs to the extent permitted by law.
7. Warranty
MLUX provides a lifetime warranty on workmanship for most collision and paint repairs, subject to the terms of the specific warranty certificate provided at pickup. The warranty covers defects in workmanship performed by MLUX. It does not cover normal wear and tear, subsequent accidents, environmental damage, rust not caused by our repair, or work performed by other facilities after ours.
OEM parts carry the warranty provided by the manufacturer. Paint and refinishing work is warranted against peeling, cracking, hazing, and loss of adhesion as described in your warranty certificate.
8. Vehicle Storage
MLUX may store your vehicle on our premises during the repair process. You remain responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle. MLUX is not liable for loss or damage to personal items unrelated to the repair work.
9. Website Use
You may use the MLUX website to request estimates, book appointments, read about our services, and contact us. You agree not to use the website for unlawful purposes, to interfere with its operation, or to copy content without permission. All content on the site, including text, images, logos, and code, is the property of MLUX Auto Body or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Except for the express written warranty on our repair work, the website and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MLUX Auto Body, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the website or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to this website will not exceed the amount you paid MLUX for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes arising out of these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
13. Changes to These Terms
MLUX may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website or our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
