Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how MLUX Auto Body (“MLUX,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you visit mlux.io or interact with our services. By using our website, requesting an estimate, or contacting us, you agree to the practices described below.
MLUX Auto Body is located at 1919 S La Cienega Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90034. You can reach us at (323) 800-1007 or by visiting our directions page.
1. Information We Collect
When you request an estimate, book an appointment, or contact us, we may collect:
- Contact information — your name, phone number, email address, and vehicle details.
- Vehicle and claim information — make, model, year, VIN, photos of damage, insurance carrier, and claim number (when provided).
- Payment information — processed through secure third-party payment processors; MLUX does not store full payment card numbers on its own servers.
- Website usage data — IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected via standard web analytics tools.
- Communication history — records of phone calls, text messages, emails, and in-person conversations relating to your repair or estimate.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Generate repair estimates and coordinate service.
- Communicate with you about your vehicle, repair status, appointments, and related service updates.
- Work with your insurance carrier on your behalf (with your consent).
- Process payments and issue invoices.
- Respond to questions, complaints, and warranty claims.
- Improve our website and services.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud.
3. SMS / Text Messaging
When you voluntarily provide your phone number and opt in to receive text messages from MLUX, we may send you messages related to:
- Repair status updates and estimated completion times.
- Appointment reminders.
- Estimate confirmations and quote follow-ups.
- Authorization requests (e.g., for supplemental repairs).
- Responses to questions you send us via text.
Message frequency varies based on your active repair or inquiry. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. You can reply STOP to any text message at any time to opt out of further messages, and reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of SMS does not terminate any repair service or other business relationship with MLUX — we will contact you by phone or email instead.
No mobile information shared with third parties
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of information in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. How We Share Information
MLUX does not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. With trusted vendors who support our business operations (e.g., estimate-writing software, scheduling systems, secure payment processors, CRM and messaging platforms). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it to perform services for MLUX.
- Insurance carriers. When you authorize us to work directly with your insurance company on a claim, we share repair details, estimates, invoices, and photos with them.
- Parts suppliers. To source OEM and replacement parts for your vehicle.
- Legal compliance. If required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers or the public.
We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number, SMS opt-in data, or consent information with any third party for marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to improve performance. This may include analytics tools (such as Google Analytics), conversion-tracking pixels, and a third-party chat widget. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features of the site may not work as intended.
6. Data Security
